Walk one of the most beautiful stretches of the South West Coast path with dramatic cliffs towering over the Atlantic coast.

The beacon at St Agnes dates back to the Nepoleoic War, with coast to coast views all the way to Falmouth, St Ives and Trevose Head.

We'll encounter several beautiful North Coast beaches where we can stop for a swim or a snack or just relax and take in the views.

Nick is a local guide with a passion for the paddlesports, photography and all things outdoors. He never gets tired of exploring Cornwall and showing visitors some of the hidden gems that other locals want to keep a secret!
This tour is a fabulous day out; we’ll experience truly stunning scenery, fascinating local history, a few Cornish hidden gems and some of Cornwall’s top visitor attractions.
After collecting you from your accommodation we’ll journey by private minibus to St Agnes stopping on the way to pick up an award-winning pasty for lunch before going on to Trevaunance Cove where we start the walk.
The walk is approximately 10km and can be adapted to suit the needs of the group (anything we don’t see on foot we can get to by minibus).

Learn about the importance of tin and copper mining to the region as we explore the historic Wheal Coates engine house overlooking the rugged Atlantic coast. Take in stunning panoramic views from St Agnes Beacon and see the remains of St Agnes Harbour as we pass through Trevaunance Cove. We will have time to visit the St Agnes Museum in the village centre and enjoy a traditional Cornish Pasty lunch.

Our walk starts at this picturesque cove surrounded by dramatic cliffs in the North Coast village of St Agnes.

As we make our way to the South West Coast Path we'll pass the remnants of this historic harbour, once a bustling hub for Cornwall’s tin & copper mining and fishing trades.

On to the National Trust St Agnes Head an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - a dramatic cliffside headland with sweeping coastal views.

Here we have a chance to stop and explore the iconic engine house ruins perched on the cliffs, a striking reminder of Cornwall’s mining heritage.

We stop for a rest at this secluded beach with dramatic sea caves and home to the famous "hegehog" ice creams.
We climb to this prominent hilltop lookout with a history dating back to the Nepolionic Wars and panoramic coast to coast coast views.

Heading into the village of St Agnes we can delve into the area's rich history of mining, maritime trade, and village life at this charming local museum.

Witness the modern legacy of mining at this site, now home to creative and sustainable enterprises including the Cornish born eco-charity Surfers Against Sewage.

Our walk takes us through the mystical Jericho Valley and past some of the industrial relics of the Blue Hills Tin Mine.

Enjoy the dramatic views over this hidden cove with its backdrop of historic mine engine houses, towering cliffs and crystal-clear waters.

We finish the day with with a cold drink or a traditional Cornish Cream Tea at this historic inn, famed for its warm hospitality, characterful charm, and award-winning ales.

Our Luxury VW Transporter is licenced to carry 8 passengers.
Our one-day tours typically run for 8 hours but may be longer depending on pick-up location and seasonal traffic.
Our walking tours are suitable for children aged 12+ who are happy walking approximately 5-10km in a day.
We can adapt walks to make them shorter (and allocate more time for visiting areas in the minibus) but whatever the length, you should expect to encounter rough and rocky terrain with some steep hills when walking the Southwest Coast Path and Cornish moors.
We recommend bringing a raincoat, suitable clothing and footwear for the coast path and a little spending money.
Bring a small rucksack and flask if you have one, othewise you can borrow one of ours.
Don’t worry, Cornwall is still beautiful in the rain!
