Nick's Tour Notes

This tour is a fabulous day out; we’ll experience truly stunning scenery, fascinating local history, a few Cornish hidden gems and some of Cornwall’s top visitor attractions.

After collecting you from your accommodation we’ll journey by private minibus to North Cornwall, stopping on the way at Boscastle to pick up an award-winning pasty for lunch before going on to the village of Bossiney where we start the walk.

The walk is approximately 10km and can be adapted to suit the needs of the group (anything we don’t see on foot we can get to by minibus).

The moderate circular route follows the ancient Rocky Valley where we’ll see a series of waterfalls before joining the coast path and heading east, past Barras Nose and Bossiney Bay before reaching the legendary Tintagel Castle and Merlin’s Cave. After stopping for a pasty lunch we loop back inland through the village of Tintagel and on to St Nectan’s Glen a tranquil woodland paradise, home to a stunning 60-foot waterfall and sacred healing spot, perfect for moments of reflection and awe. Our final rest in the woodland cafe for a well deserved Cornish cream tea before the short walk back to our tour bus.

*Attraction Tickets for the Tintagel Castle and St Nectan’s Glen waterfall can be pre-booked (for an additional cost) but are not essential to enjoy this packed itinerary.
